Only a limited number of copies are available for five of the issues and those are available ONLY in complete sets for $112 (or $118.72 with tax, if you live in Kentucky). the Index for Spring 2002 thru Winter 2005: Section A-D Section E-I Section J-R Section S-Z Dr. Spilman Account Book Index (not every name) Paint Lick Reflections (ISSN #1539-7327) gave readers a chance to rediscover (or discover for the first time) the joys of small-town, rural Kentucky life-- past, present, and future! Readers shared stories and photos about their childhood or their family and friends here in Paint Lick. Genealogical and historical information also was provided. And there always were stories about life in today's Paint Lick, too. Paint Lick Reflections debuted in Spring 2002 with a 40-page keepsake-quality publication. It was retired in early 2006 when the 16th issue was mailed. A limited number of back issues still are available, ranging from 44 to 60 pages each! Hundreds of pages of Paint Lick history and folklore have been preserved, thanks to a core of readers and contributors who volunteer on this project. Thank you!!! Rita Mackin Fox, the editor/publisher, has lived in Paint Lick with her family since 1995, and quickly fell in love with the place. She dedicated the publication to Dean Cornett, one of the first President Bush's Points of Light, who inspired the editor to stick her neck out and start this magazine. Read more about this amazing woman in the Spring 2002 and Summer 2003 editions of Paint Lick Reflections. (We all miss you, Dean!) |
