Polly's Bend School in northeast Garrard County,
along the Kentucky River.
The teacher is Miss Pauline Arnold (later Mrs. Lane).

Boones Creek, Bryantsville, Buckeye, Camp Dick, Cartersville,
Copper Creek, Flatwoods, Gilbert's Creek, Lancaster, Paint Lick,
and other communities in Garrard Co. Most photos show
people going about everyday life in this rural central Kentucky county.
